Dry Land Training 2011

Dry Land Taining is full steam ahead this season with great results being noticed already. First starting at the grounds at Medbury school and now in Hagley park with other venues to follow.

Dry Land Training is a term we use for phisical training and includes all those aspects performed OFF snow to assist in the development of an athlete. This includes running and other fitness, gym work, stretching and other complimentry sports. Dry Land Training is designed to ensure Athletes are fit and strong and physically able enough to train, develop and perform throughout the winter season.

If you are new to Team Hutt and joining the program or have not recieved any emails then please send in your application, downloadable as a PDF file under the 'programme' section.

Whistler Cup 2010

This year 5 of the 10 attending athletes, selected to represented New Zealand at the Whistler Cup International FIS Childrens Event in Canada were from Team Hutt. This is, for most of them, their first taste of ski racing on an international stage, outside of NZ. Attending athletes from Team Hutt included: Sam Bushell, Nick Gemmell, James O'Donoghue, Anastasia Morrison, and Eliza Grigg. (Mostly Sporting their Snow Vision Beanies!) Attending Coach from Team Hutt was Program Director, Grant Jamieson. Thank you to our Team Sponsors and Athlete Parents, which make these opportunities possible.
